KPCW Radio

This small radio station has a big job as a community communication hub. As the town grows, so does the need for the radio and its support staff, and the renovation and enlargement of this building were integral to keeping pace. Special attention was given to the DJ booths to ensure quiet and professional broadcasting. The architectural design and form of the building built upon its past, while keeping a reasonable entrance for the store below. This created a communal space below while abiding by height restrictions imposed by the site. The result is a building that will communicate with and reside within the greater community for some time to come.
